ALTOMILANO, CALIBAN, TINTORIA MATTEI, PUNTODODICI, PEAKPERFORMANCE AT PITTIUOMO 95
The guiding theme of the Pitti Immagine winter shows is a tribute to a common feature of all the events of the very important fair: being of the Surprise Box, of extraordinary containers of ideas and novelties to be opened from season to season, to tell the most new in fashion and lifestyle.
The focus of Alto Milano‘s FW 19/20 collection is on the search for the highest quality raw materials. Precious materials such as mohair, machine-washable extra-fine merinos and cashmere give life to a clean collection that focuses more on the material effect on the graph. The color palette ranges from warm shades, typical of the winter season, to fluorescent shades that are combined with the more classic grays and blues.
In the autumn / winter 2019-2020 collection by Caliban the most innovative models are the Wash & Wear ones, where the 100% non-iron fabric guarantees up to 70/80 washes without having to resort to iron. This is made possible thanks to a specially designed construction of the garment: the armholes, the shoulder and the cannon, in addition to being sewn, are heat-sealed allowing you to wear the shirt immediately after washing. Stripes with a single or two-color sartorial taste and Savile Row taste with important relationships such as the “lasagna” line alternating with optical micro-geometric prints and Seventies-inspired cashmere patterns. The color palette, in addition to the classic blue and blue, presents new warm shades such as burnt and orange with juxtaposed nuances such as purple. The necks with open sails give the collection an evolved sartorial look and a clean look characterized by a very soft hand, typical of Italian tailoring.
Tintoria Mattei 954 – shirt brand of the Giemme BrandsCorporate group that stands out for its refined style and creative DNA – is the spokesman of a new concept of craftsmanship.
The constant search for different combinations of fabrics, finishes and textures, gives life to a product of the highest quality, innovative and avant-garde, able to steal the emerging trends of menswear and translate them into essential pieces of the male wardrobe.
For the fall / winter 2019-2020 collection, the slim fit garments leave room for regular ones, with a less dry cut. The volumes over, like the square shapes, take inspiration from the ’80s /’ 90s. The materials are warm, typically autumn, with a reference to flannel that is declined both in models with shirt weights and in overshirt with large volumes and consistencies almost from the first jacket. The iconic garments of Tintoria Mattei 954 are revisited in the jersey that ranges from piquet, to the one flamed by the warm hand, passing through the yarn-dyed microjacquard.
In the color palette, in addition to the warm tones such as orange, burnt and ocher, new and original combinations stand out, such as purple with camel and the latter with opaque black especially in denim, cotton and flannel.
The collection perfectly reflects the philosophy of the brand proposing a style lived and noble at the same time, thanks to the use of technical materials and innovative blends, such as tencel and modal, more and more avant-garde.
For the Puntododici fall / winter collection 2019-2020 the materials range from the coated and washed tweed of field jackets, to the cavallery for the coats with the stacchino, passing through the mix of wools combined, spined and prince of wales worked with nylon padded in light down.
The influence of sportswear can be found in the fully waterproof thermonastric items with a fully detachable down jacket inside: a perfect functional detail to face outdoor adventures.
On the occasion of Pitti Immagine Uomo, Puntododici also presents the new brand: a blue nylon band inside the outerwear where the writing – in a glossy finish – gives the whole collection a unique and original touch.
To demonstrate once again its commitment to performance and innovation, Peak Performance launches the new Active FW19 collection, designed to explore new ways of retaining and maintaining body heat. Eco padding – a synthetic and recycled alternative to natural fibers – is widely integrated to guarantee perfect thermal insulation and moisture management for all garments. The bright outer fabrics, the camouflage and watercolor prints, also give a strong visual impact to the collection. The strong and bold colors of this season are perfectly in line with those of the ski line, making it very easy to combine different products, allowing to those who wear them to always be recognizable. All garments are made in a sustainable way and contain sporting technologies, the main feature of the entire Active FW19 collection.
