This year for the 94th edition of PittiUomo, the Fortezza da Basso has been transformed into a POP arena, where a visual and virtual party has been staged. No black and white austerity, but a kaleidoscope of full color patterns to make the presentation of the new collections playful and hypnotic. Cosmopolitan dispenses for the SS19 collection by AltoMilano, a brand that has transformed the sock from a simple accessory to an essential element of style.

In the proposals for the 94th edition of Pitti Uomo, for Alto Milano the energy of the suburban streets of New York meets the refined and rigorous taste of Tokyo. A journey between the West and the East that culminates with the excellence of Italian raw materials.

The Caliban collection speaks to the different souls of modern man: from elegant and sartorial proposals dedicated to the most demanding and formal businessmen; to the 820 shirts, unstructured and washed for the most casual and bohemian personalities. Instead, the smart manager chooses the totally wrinkle-free, No Iron fabric. Moreover, inside the collection there is a proposal for the ceremony where the immaculate white, matched with tuxedo collars and shirtfront plissé, becomes the undisputed protagonist

This is how Peak Performance, for spring-summer 2019, presents highly functional garments that look beyond practical everyday needs. From the gym to everyday life, technical garments are transformed, abandoning the formal lines and leaving space for exclusive, high-performance and avant-garde clothing. For the upcoming summer season, the Swedish brand continues its path in the outerwear industry launching two capsule collections dedicated to men: X-Jackets and Gore-Tex.

Puntododici, a brand of high-end outerwear for a casual menswear with a modern taste, revisits iconic models with timeless appeal for the 94th edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo. Experiments in style, attention to detail and constant research into materials and workmanship have always connoted the brand that, for the spring-summer 2019 collection, offers garments with essential and functional lines.

For the Tintoria Mattei spring / summer 2019 collection, prints range from the floral all-over to the ethnic-folk theme, the common thread of a capsule that features the typical motifs of Thai carpets and Japanese bandanas. The patterns are developed both with the printed technique – which position is carefully studied according to the model – and finished, as in the tie-dye shirts with Shibori method. As suggested by the trend for this season, the brand also reinterprets the concept of shirt with the Japan Military Cotton project, where the soft volumes are combined with an important weight that allows you to wear it over a t-shirt. One of the most revolutionary innovations, presented at Pitti Uomo 94, is the Eco Logic Shirt. The first shirt in Italy which is entirely eco, made of certified ecological cotton supplied by the famous Albini cotton mill. In addition to the sustainability of the main fabric, the 100% cotton thread with which the shirt is sewn, the biodegradable buttons, the tag made of recycled and water-based material represent all the tricks adopted by Tintoria Mattei 954 to make the 100% green shirt.
