PITTI UOMO 97: ALTOMILANO, CALIBAN & TINTORIA MATTEI
“Show your flags at Pitti” is the new theme of Pitti Uomo 97, covering the Fortezza da Basso in the colors and patterns of a unique flag. A textured and architectural setting where it’s possible to feel a part of the ‘United Nations of Fashion’.
Art and eco-sustainability are the key elements for the FW 20/21 collection by Alto Milano, a brand of men’s & women’s socks from the historic Facenti company. The collaboration between Alto Milano and the Fulvio Luparia artistic laboratory continues; the combination becomes increasingly successful thanks to the eco-sustainable vision with which the entire collection was conceived. The commitment to the environment therefore is being translated into a wide range of ecological cottons and wool from certified farms and suppliers.
Caliban continues the creative story of the shirt, in its most classic and elegant version, adding also casual elements. A sartorial taste where quality is expressed not only in the choice of fabrics, but also in the construction of the garment. For the autumn – winter 2020/2021 collection, five colors take the spotlight: elegance black & whites, formal warm tones, casual colors of the earth and denim, plus some contemporary touches of greens and oranges.
Contemporaneity and modernity are the keywords for autumn – winter 2020/2021Tintoria Mattei954. The wide and heterogeneous proposal, capable of satisfying every need, is full of interesting creative ideas, but always remains faithful to the company’s experience and tradition. The choice of fabrics – rigorously made in Italy – ranges from cottons, gabardine, jersey to the heaviness of wool, flannels and velvets. Games of overlaps and volumes, with oversized fit & a mix of lengths. The color palette, with some hints of tie-dye, focuses more on warm tones, burnt earth, orange shades, plus military green and indigo-blue tones.
